Birra Becagli stems from a simple conviction: beer is a form of culture. A bridge between people, foods, places, and stories.
It wasn't created in a rush. Behind the five bottles lie years of hospitality, travels in international beer culture, technical training, and venues dedicated to quality beer. There is the habit of listening to the glass—and to whoever holds it.
And there is Pistoia. Not as a backdrop, but as character: the names, labels, and ways of our beers speak the language of the city. Each bottle is designed to accompany a specific moment: an aperitif, a dinner, a conversation that deserves to linger.
Francesco enters the beer world. The first taps, the first styles, the discovery of a craft.
Venues dedicated to quality beer, service, people. Beer as the craft of hospitality.
Training, tasting, international beer culture. Learning to read the glass to tell its story.
Experience becomes a project with its own name: five characters crafted in Pistoia.
Francesco is the origin of the vision, not the whole story. His journey, started in 2008 among taps, dining rooms, and cellars, gave Birra Becagli technical rigor and a taste for hospitality. The rest is done by the beers—and the people who open them.
“The best beer isn't the one that wins competitions. It's the one that makes people stay at the table an hour longer.”
Every recipe stems from a concrete question—with which dish, at what moment, for which conversation—and passes through the glass many times before reaching yours. It is a work of detail: carefully selected malts, hops that speak clearly, respected processes, and circular thinking that gives back to the earth what the beer does not use.
